Rakhine Village Homestay is a 1-star homestay in Kuakata, Kalapara, Patuakhali. You stay with a local family who cook home-style meals, share tips on hidden spots and make every guest feel at home. A rare beach where you can watch both sunrise and sunset over the Bay of Bengal, near Rakhine villages and mangroves. The beach is 460 m away — about 6 minutes on foot. Guests enjoy free wi-fi, free parking, breakfast included, generator backup, halal food and prayer room.

The hot water took a long time to come in the mornings. Housekeeping missed our room one day. Not the experience the photos promised.

Disappointing

Some furniture looked worn and the bathroom needs an update. It got noisy at night because of the road outside. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously.

Okay, could be better

Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi was patchy in the evenings. Breakfast was repetitive after the second day.
